Anja Lutz having an artist talk with Dr. Katja Blomberg, the director of Haus am Waldsee about the concept and work process behind the Marginalia book.
The concept for MARGINALIA is based on the designer's collaboration on book design with artists such as Hulda Rós Gudnadóttir, Kader Attia, Julian Rosefeldt, Lawrence Weiner, Snaebjornsdottir/Wilson and curators such as S. Helweg Ovesen and B. Soh Bejeng Ndikung.
What Anja has done is to strip the pages of all readable information such as pictures and text. In addition to the book she has made limited edition with the original cut outs. The editions are framed (not seen in pic above) in a suspension between glass and the back. Available at Green Box in Berlin.
